WPM and Anschläge pro Minute

In German-speaking countries typing speed is often given in Anschläge pro Minute (keystrokes per minute). Multiply your raw WPM by 5 to convert: 40 WPM ≈ 200 Anschläge. Office jobs often ask for 200–250 Anschläge per minute; 300+ is very fast.

How your score is calculated

Every five correctly typed characters, including spaces, count as one word. Your WPM is the number of those words divided by the test length in minutes, so mistyped words do not count.
